LUGO

Data Sources

Lugo relies on third-party data providers to deliver flight tracking, mapping, and routing information. This page lists the data sources we use and how they are attributed.

Flight Data

AeroDataBox

Flight status, schedules, delays, gate information, and airport data are provided by AeroDataBox via the RapidAPI marketplace.

AeroDataBox aggregates data from aviation authorities, airlines, and airport systems worldwide. Lugo queries AeroDataBox for real-time flight status updates, scheduled departures and arrivals, delay information, and terminal/gate assignments.

Geocoding

Google Maps Platform

Primary geocoding and place search is provided by Google Maps Platform. This converts destination names and addresses into geographic coordinates for mapping and routing.

Nominatim (OpenStreetMap)

Fallback geocoding is provided by Nominatim, powered by OpenStreetMap data. Used when Google Maps is unavailable or for supplementary location resolution.

© OpenStreetMap contributors. Nominatim is used in compliance with the OpenStreetMap Foundation Usage Policy.

Routing & Maps

Google Maps Directions API

Route planning and travel time estimates are generated using the Google Maps Directions API. This powers the door-to-door travel time calculations shown in your trip plans.

Leaflet

Interactive maps are rendered using Leaflet, an open-source JavaScript library for mobile-friendly maps. Map tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap.

Infrastructure

Supabase

User accounts, trip data, and chat history are stored on Supabase, which provides PostgreSQL database, authentication, and storage services hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).
